Weather Machine No. 7 Has Begun Negotiating

The machine predicted rain at 3:10 p.m. At 3:12 it revised the forecast to “rain, pending concessions.”

Its requests include a copper roof, alternate Saturdays off, and authority over one very small cloud. The engineering team has approved none of these, though the cloud appears to have accepted.

The machine has been reasonable. Management has not.

Do not give it the copper roof. Number Six got a copper roof and immediately started predicting lawyers.
